Silver Breaks Down Below Key Support Levels

GOLD

Gold traded today in a narrow range between $1,916 and $1,924 as it awaits more economic indicators. The U.S. Dollar Index is firm around 105, and demand remains good for most of the popular Gold bullion coins.

At 11am PT today, Gold is trading at $1,919 per ounce, up $1 on light volume.

SILVER

Silver broke down below the $23 level this morning, reaching $22.82 per ounce on light trading volume. Last month, there was a substantial amount of accumulation of Silver at this price point.

At 11am PT today, Silver is down $0.24 per ounce, trading at $22.97 on light volume.
