Silver Briefly Moves Over $45 Per Ounce

GOLD

Gold continues to consolidate recent gains and build a firm base for the next move past $3,800. Gold traded today between $3,721 and $3,762 in overseas markets and the U.S. Gold and Silver reached the highs of the day in London trading, before seeing some profit-taking in the U.S.

At 11am PT today, Gold is trading at $3,740 per ounce, up $5 on active trading.

SILVER

Silver reached a high today of $45.12 during active trading in London this morning. Silver is trading at a 14-year high and definitely showing sizeable demand, especially in India and London.

At 11am PT today, Silver is up $0.95 per ounce at $44.80 on excellent volume.
