Silver Continues Its Move Upwards

GOLD

Gold Prices are down Thursday on a better-than-expected labor market report with fewer unemployment claims than the forecasted 235,000. The precious metals market has been receiving selling pressure from a higher U.S. dollar index today and mildly increased treasury yields. Markets are quieter today with the easing of tension around Trump’s threats to fire the Fed Chairman, and as we continue into slower summertime trading.

At 11 am PT today, Gold is trading at $3,337, down $18 from Wednesday.

SILVER

Silver Prices are moderately higher in Thursday training. The white metal has been trading in a tight range around $38 today, holding onto its gains with support from investors and those who have taken a shine to Silver in light of the recent rise and fluctuations in the Gold price.

At 11 am PT today, Silver is trading at $38.11, up $0.19 for the day.
