Silver Moving Above $25 & Leading The Precious Metal Index
GOLD
Gold traded today between $2,031 and $2,044 per ounce as it builds an excellent base for the next leg higher. A rally in the U.S. Dollar Index (over 103) put pressure on the Gold price this morning. The Personal Consumption Expenditures for October was released today. It showed an increase of 0.2%, higher than the 0.1% expected. At 11am PT today, Gold is down $13 per ounce, trading at $2,034 on good volume.
SILVER
Silver was the leader in the precious metal index today, showing firm support above the key $25 per ounce level. Silver reached a high of $25.35 per ounce before seeing short-term profit taking. At 11am PT today, Silver is trading at $25.20 per ounce, up $0.10 on excellent volume.
