Silver Price Explodes Higher On Historic Breakout

Surprisingly, Gold reached a high of $3,405, then saw selling as Silver moved higher. Gold reached a low of $3,336 before moving back above the $3,350 support level.

At 11am PT today, Gold is trading at $3,352 per ounce, down $27 on active trading.

SILVER

Silver hit a 13-Year high this morning on the NY Comex over $36 per ounce. This bullish breakout showed sizeable volume and short-covering, but reached a high of $36.14 before finding serious selling. It would be healthy for the Silver price to stay above $35 per ounce for a few weeks to keep on the bullish path.

At 11am PT today, Silver is trading at $35.65 per ounce, up $1.18 on very active volume.
