GOLD
With the U.S. Dollar index trading back above 103 and the U.S. 10-Year Treasury bill moving above 4.30%, the Gold rally has stopped today. Gold looks to be consolidating in a trading area between $2,150 and $2,190 per ounce.
At 11am PT today, Gold is trading at $2,157 per ounce, down $3 on average volume
SILVER
With Gold lower today and on the defensive, it’s surprising to see how strong the Silver price has been. Silver has traded above the key $25 per ounce level for most of the day. Silver reached a high of $25.50 before seeing some short-term profit-taking.
At 11am PT today, Silver is up $0.40 per ounce, trading at $25.20 on good volume.
