Silver Showing More Volatility Than Gold

Gold has gone back to a tight $10 High/Low trading range, between $1,763 and $1,773, as the boring base building continues. Many commodity traders and companies are buying in the $1,750 to $1,765 area and selling when the market moves above $1,785. We could see another test of the lows early next week, followed by an upward breakout later in the week. At 11am PT today, Gold is trading at $1,770, up $2 on average volume.

SILVER

Silver showed more volatility than Gold today with a $0.50 high/low trading range. Silver continues to trade above and below the key $26 price level, as physical demand remains strong. At 11am PT today, Silver is down $0.10 per ounce, trading at $25.93 on normal volume.
