The Day Gold And Silver Turned Bullish For 2026
GOLD
Yesterday’s trading is a strong indicator that the Gold price will now be moving higher in 2026. Yesterday, in early trading, the Gold price reached a low of $3,995.20, below the key $4,000 per ounce support level. At that point in time:
- the markets were waiting on the Federal Reserve's decision on interest rates
- the U.S. Dollar had reached a new 2026 high of 101.80
- the Dow Jones was down over 800 points
- the Oil price was up 6% per barrel
- President Trump said he was going to beat the F**king Sh*t out of the Iranians
With all five of the above things happening, if the Gold price was going to break down and make new 2026 lows, it would have happened then.
Therefore, I believe Gold has bottomed out, and I believe the price will slowly move higher over the balance of the year, reaching $5,000 per ounce or higher.
At 11:20 am yesterday, the Fed announced that it was going to leave interest rates unchanged, and the Gold price started moving higher on heavy volume. Gold reached $4,116 per ounce before seeing some late short-term profit-taking.
Today, the Gold price saw some light selling in India, taking the price down to $4,028. However, when trading opened in London, some large orders came in (Central banks), and Gold rallied $50 per ounce. Demand remained strong in the U.S., and Gold moved back over the $4,100 level.
At 11 am PT today, Gold is trading at $4,105 per ounce, up $25 on excellent volume.
SILVER
In overseas trading this morning, Silver saw light selling in India, taking the price down to $56.82, but buyers came back in London and the U.S. Silver reached a high of $59.08 this morning in U.S. trading.
At 11 am PT today, Silver is up $0.38 per ounce, trading at $58.75 on average volume.
