U.S. Dollar Index Rallied Again Today

Again, today the U.S. Dollar Index rallied, briefly moving above the 107 level. The 10-Year treasury note interest rate also moved higher today, driving the price of Gold lower. Gold reached a low of $1,759 this morning before heading higher. The Federal Reserve minutes from the last meeting was just released, which caused Gold to rally $5 very quickly. SILVER
On Gold’s weakness this morning, Silver broke below its $20 support level this morning, reaching a low of $19.67 before rallying, Silver has rallied off today’s low on the Federal Reserve minutes. At 11:15 PT today, Silver is trading at $19.90 per ounce, down $0.35 on excellent volume.
