U.S. Dollar Soars To A 15-Month High

As the U.S. Dollar soars to a 15-month high of 96.90, the Gold price stayed in the $1,777 to $1,793 range in today’s trading. Going into the Thanksgiving Day holiday weekend, it could be interesting to watch what the other major commodity markets will do without U.S. leadership. At 11am PT today, Gold is trading at $1,787 per ounce, down $5 on average volume.

SILVER

Silver has spent most of today trading above and below the $23.50 per ounce level. At this price level, I would expect to see increasing demand and premiums on many of the popular Silver investment items during December. At 11am PT today, Silver is down $0.05 per ounce, trading at $23.58 on normal volume.
