GOLD
Gold continues to consolidate recent gains and build a base between $1,765 and $1,780 per ounce. While both the U.S. Dollar and 10-Year Treasury rates stay in a tight range, I would expect to see a Gold breakout above the $1,780 range soon. At 11am PT today, Gold is trading at $1,778 per ounce, up $6 on normal volume.
SILVER
Silver has been trading today above and below the key $26 level, as it also builds a firm base for the next leg higher. We just posted a U.S. Mint update on the Type 2 2021 1oz Silver Eagles under the Investor Education section of our website, look under News Articles. At 11am PT today, Silver is up $0.05 per ounce, trading at $25.85 on average volume.
