Presenting a gorgeous Set of 11 Mexican Gold 50 Pesos in Brilliant Uncirculated condition in a display case. This Set includes all 11 coins from the original 1921 to 1931 run of Mexican Centenarios. These 50 Pesos Gold coins commemorate the centennial of the Mexican Independence from Spain in 1821. Each of these Pesos contain 1.2057 ounces of Gold, for a total of 13.2627 ounces.

The Mexican Gold 50 Pesos is one of the most beautiful coins to ever be produced. Featuring an image of Winged Victory, or the Angel of Independence, holding broken chains in left hand and a laurel wreath in her right with two Mexican volcanoes in the background on the obverse. The reverse features the Mexican coat of Arms, a golden eagle perched on a cactus with a rattlesnake in its beak.

These 11 50 Peso Gold coins are absolutely spectacular. The surfaces are extremely lustrous and have sharp detail definition. This complete set of the original 1921-1931 run is stunning and perfect for someone interested in the history of Mexico or a world gold coin collection.
