Description

Presenting a Romania 1944 Gold 20 Lei in BU condition. Issued after Romania proclaimed an armistice with the Allied Forces, this Brilliant Uncirculated coin contains .1895 oz AGW. The fields are smooth and the devices are crisp. The original mint luster gleams off of bright golden surfaces. There is a little discoloration on the edges of the coin as seen in the photos.

The obverse depicts Romanian leaders in three wars -- Viteazul (1601), Ferdinand I (1918), and Mihai (1944). The reverse features a crowned eagle with a cross, surrounded by 11 crests.
