Description

Presenting a Rwanda 1965 Gold 50 Francs Gregoire Kayibanda Proof. From a low mintage of only 3,000, this proof commemorates the 4th year of Independence and contains .4340 oz AGW. This proof has nice luster and good details throughout. There are a few small spots of discoloration on the obverse as seen in the photos.

The obverse features a 3/4 right facing bust of president Gregoire Kayibanda. The reverse features the denomination above the flag draped Rwanda coat of arms.
