Here is a 1972 1c Copper Lincoln Memorial Cent graded MS65RD by PCGS in an Original Green Holder. This Memorial Lincoln Cent has the Double Die Obverse (DDO). Fantastic red fields gleam with gorgeous original mint luster. The devices are crisp with excellent details. This gem certified Lincoln Cent has amazing eye-appeal and is perfect for a collection.

What makes this coin even more valuable, coveted, and in higher demand is the early generation PCGS original green holder, referred to as OGH. Because they were graded during a more conservative period of PCGS' history many OGH coins are in superior condition to their counterparts. OGH coins have been known to upgrade one, sometimes even two grades, if resubmitted to PCGS. As a result of the more conservative grading standards and upgrade possibilities, coins in OGH holders typically command prices averaging about 20% higher than their contemporary counterparts.
