Presented to you is an extraordinary 1913-S Type 2 5c Buffalo Nickel. It is graded a highly impressive gem grade of MS65 by PCGS and is PQ Approved. This Buffalo Nickel (also referred to as an Indian Head) will hold a place of distinction in a collection with it's well struck devices, smooth fields, and bright original mint luster. The surfaces glow with warm fiery toning around the peripheral.

The Buffalo Nickel was first minted in 1913. Two design varieties were created that year. Type 1 has the buffalo standing about a mound while Type 2 has it standing on a thin straight line. This Type 2, minted in San Francisco, is one of the KEY DATES of the series. It is extremely difficult to find in gem uncirculated grades.
