This is a rare gem certified 1919-D 5c Buffalo Nickel. It is graded MS65 by PCGS and is PQ Approved. This five-cent Indian Head coin is very well struck. The devices are crisp with amazing detail definition and the fields are smooth and untouched. The surfaces glow with warm ember tones. The original mint luster is beautiful and satiny. This is high-end Denver Buffalo Nickel that is ideal for a collection.

Nickels from the 1919-D mintage are incredibly rare in mint state uncirculated condition. In gem condition, the 1919-D is the rarest of the Denver minted nickels from the 1913-1919 era. Currently, PCGS population reports show ONLY 78 graded MS65 with only 41 higher.
