Presenting a 1936 50c Elgin, Illinois Centennial commemorative half dollar. It is graded MS65 by PCGS. This Silver coin celebrates the 100th anniversary of the founding of Elgin, Illinois. The obverse features a bust of a pioneer man. The reverse depicts the pioneer memorial statue, which would not be dedicated until 2001. The surfaces of this commemorative are white and lustrous.
