These $1 Indian Princess Type 3 Gold Dollars are Popular Dates with a Mint State Grade of MS63 from either PCGS or NGC. Popular Dates for the $1 Indian Type 3 coins range from 1880-1883 and 1887-1889, struck at the Philadelphia mint. Mint State Gold selects the dates you receive and feels confident that you will be very pleased with the selections.

These MS63 coins are solid examples of their grade with a majority of the original mint luster still apparent. The surface will have a few small contact marks as well as a couple visible scuff marks and defects on the face. The eye appeal is rather attractive and these are overall prime examples of uncirculated quality MS63 coins.

The Type 3 $1 Gold Indian Princess Head, also known as the Large Head, debuted in 1856. It seems the third time was the charm for the Gold Dollar series, and the Type 3 Gold Dollar's size and durability proved satisfactory. Production continued without interruption for more than three decades, until the denomination was discontinued in 1889.

Stunning Stuppler
