This 2022-W $100 Platinum Eagle is graded PR70DCAM by PCGS and has received the First Strike certification. The devices are razor sharp and the fields pristine and mirrored. This 1 oz .9995 Platinum coin is an amazing investment or a terrific addition to a collection. Includes Original Government Packaging: U.S. Mint Box and Certificate of Authenticity.

The 2022 Platinum Proof Eagle features a new obverse design. First from the First Amendment series, this Proof highlights "Freedom of Speech". The obverse depicts a branch from an oak tree and the inscription "With Freedom of Speech Liberty Blossoms". The reverse shows an eagle in flight holding an olive branch.

First Strike coins are produced using the first dies forged by the Mint for a particular series. The use of these first dies typically results in a higher quality strike and finer details. A coin must be proven to have been released by the Mint within the first 30 days of issuance to be designated First Strike. Only a limited quantity of coins will be classified First Strikes during any production run, making them prized among collectors and investors for their increased scarcity and added beauty.
