Production of the Saint-Gaudens Double Eagle coins continued from 1907 until 1933, with a brief two year hiatus from 1917-1918. More than half a century after production ceased on these magnificent gems, the U.S. mint bestowed an incredible honor upon The Saint-Gaudens Double Eagle. In 1986, they decided to place the design on the obverse (front) of the American Eagle gold bullion coin, the United States #1 gold coin produced today!

Best customer service from any dealer
