The smooth surfaces of this 1904-S $20 Gold Liberty, graded MS65 by NGC, radiate a rich, straw-gold hue and blazing mint luster. The obverse features high-point detail on all major focal points, including the hair above Liberty's forehead and the coronet. The reverse has especially sharp contrasted lines in the Eagle's neck and wing tips. Current NGC census shows ONLY 1 graded higher than MS65, at MS66 with a list price of $26,000.
