Now presenting a 1908 No Motto $20 St Gaudens Gold Double Eagle which has been graded Choice MS64 by PCGS and is in an original green holder. This glitzy Saint G is a lovely specimen, boasting bright fields of original mint luster. The devices are firmly struck and details well articulated. This $20 Saint Gaudens coin has lovely eye appeal and will fit nicely in any gold type collection or portfolio.

What makes this coin even more valuable, coveted, and in higher demand is the early generation PCGS original green holder, referred to as OGH. Because they were graded during a more conservative period of PCGS' history many OGH coins are in superior condition to their counterparts. OGH coins have been known to upgrade one, sometimes even two grades, if resubmitted to PCGS. As a result of the more conservative grading standards and upgrade possibilities, coins in OGH holders typically command prices averaging about 20% higher than their contemporary counterparts.
