Description

This 1922 Philadelphia $20 Saint Gaudens has graded MS65 by PCGS. Featuring lustrous surfaces, this Gold Double Eagle gleams with an apricot-gold hue. There is nice detail throughout the obverse and the reverse. This Saint has nice eye-appeal and will make a nice addition to any Gold collection.

From a large original mintage of over 1.3 million, few 1922 Saints remain to have graded higher than this MS65. The current PCGS population shows that ONLY 75 have graded higher. The list price for the MS66 grade is $26,500, making this a great opportunity to add a Gem graded 1922 Saint to your collection without the high price or scarcity of the higher grades.
