This 1926 $20 St Gaudens Gold Double Eagle has been graded Choice MS64 by PCGS. With its gleaming original mint luster and well-preserved surfaces that exhibit a rich, amber-gold hue, this Saint has significant eye-appeal. The devices are crisp and powerfully struck with high-point detail on both Lady Liberty and the American Eagle. This is a remarkable Saint that will hold a place of distinction in any collection.

A comparatively low mintage of approximately 816,000 St Gaudens Double Eagles was produced in Philadelphia in 1926. Only a small fraction of those have survived to grade in Mint State condition with PCGS, making this Saint an attractive collectible with strong upside potential.
