This superior high-end 1926 Saint Gaudens has it all: dazzling eye-appeal, original mint luster, and beautiful surfaces that exhibit a rich, summer-gold hue. The devices are crisp and powerfully struck with lots of wonderful detail throughout both Liberty and the American eagle on the reverse. This is a very impressive Saint that will complement any collection.

Though approximately 816,000 St. Gaudens gold coins were produced in Philadelphia in 1926, only a small fraction have survived to grade as high as Gem MS66 with PCGS. From the original mintage, current PCGS population reports show that ONLY 5 have graded higher, all at MS67, with a current list value of $40,000.
