These $20 Saint Gaudens Double Eagle coins are Popular Dates with a Mint State grade of MS61 from either PCGS or NGC. Popular Dates for the St Gaudens coins range from 1907 – 1928 from either the Philadelphia or San Francisco mint. Mint State Gold selects the dates and mints you receive and feels confident that you will be very pleased with the selections.

These MS61 coins are solid examples of their grade with original mint luster still apparent on the coin. The surfaces have a fair amount of bag or scuff marks on them, resulting primarily from decades of transportation and storage. With some heavy abrasions yet overall nice eye-appeal, these coins are prime examples of uncirculated quality MS61 coins.

Minted from 1907-1933, the $20 Gold coin known as the St. Gaudens Double Eagle is considered by many to be the most beautiful type of U.S. coin ever minted. A favorite among investors and collectors, coins from this series have historically continued to appreciate due to their significant role in U.S. history, attractiveness to collectors, and brilliant gold content.

Production of the Saint-Gaudens Double Eagle coins continued from 1907 until 1933, with a brief two year hiatus from 1917-1918. More than half a century after production ceased on these magnificent gems, the U.S. mint bestowed an incredible honor upon The Saint-Gaudens Double Eagle. In 1986, they decided to place the design on the obverse (front) of the American Eagle gold bullion coin, the United States #1 gold coin produced today!
