This 2017 $25 1 ounce American Palladium Eagle is graded MS70 by PCGS and is certified First Strike with hand-signed label by Edmund C. Moy, the 38th Director of the U.S. Mint. It features razor-sharp devices and smooth fields.

This 1 ounce Palladium Eagle contains .9995 fine palladium. The 2017 release of the Palladium Eagle is the first time the U.S. has ever issued a palladium coin. It features two classic designs by Adolph A. Weinman: the Winged Liberty from the Mercury Dime and the 1907 American Institute of Architects Gold Medal reverse design.

First Strike coins are produced using the first dies forged by the Mint for a particular series. The use of these first dies typically results in a higher quality strike and finer details. A coin must be proven to have been released by the Mint within the first 30 days of issuance to be designated First Strike. Only a limited quantity of coins will be classified First Strikes during any production run, making them prized among collectors and investors for their increased scarcity and added beauty.

Best Modern Coin Series! (Obviously)

I had a great experience pre-ordering the second issue 2021 BU Pd AE. Roger and David are always very helpful and friendly to speak with. I was genuinely shocked to see the Mint release 2 Pd AE in one year, never thought I'd see the day! The strike is sharp, "near" proof-like, and has the eye appeal only a perfect coin could provide. The Pd AE coin series is just like a fine wine, it only gets better with age! Great Buy!
