Presenting a wonderful set of 2006-W $50 Gold Eagles certified First Strike. Included in this set is the 2006-W Burnished 1 oz Eagle graded MS70 by PCGS, the 2006-W 1 oz Eagle Proof graded PR70 Deep Cameo by PCGS, and the 2006-W 1 oz Reverse Proof graded PR70 by PCGS. Each of these Gold Eagles are also certified First Strike by PCGS.

The 2006 Burnished MS70 Eagle features a full strike and sharp devices. The fields are untouched and shine with a brilliant honey gold hue. There is a faint copper spot on the obverse on the left just above the rays. The 2006-W PR70 DCAM proof has stunning reflective fields and gorgeous frosty devices that highlight the sharpness of the strike. The 2006-W Reverse Proof PR70 exhibits velvety smooth fields and mirror-like devices with a marvelous overall appearance. There are some tiny copper spots on both the obverse and reverse but they can hardly be seen with the naked eye.

First Strike coins are produced using the first die forged by the Mint, resulting in a high quality strike and very fine details. In order for a coin to be designated "First Strike" it must arrive for grading within the first 30-days of production. After that time, no additional coins can recieve this distinction, guaranteeing that their population will never increase! The First Strikes designation also ensures against any design changes that may occur throughout the year.Only a limited quantity of coins will be classified First Strikes during any production run, making them prized among collectors and investors for their increased scarcity and beauty.

Gold American Eagles appeal to both investors and collectors alike. Minted in 22-karat gold, each 1oz Gold Eagle coin contains 91.67% fine gold. American Eagle Gold coins are guaranteed by the U.S. government in weight, content and purity. The classic and beautiful obverse (front side) design of Lady Liberty recalls a golden age of coin artistry. This Liberty design has been a longtime favorite since it was first used back in 1907 on the $20 Gold St. Gaudens coins.

The coins pictured are the exact coins you will receive. A 2006-W $50 Gold Eagle, graded MS70 by PCGS, a 2006-W $50 Gold Eagle, graded PR70 DCAM by PCGS, and a 2006-W $50 Eagle Reverse Proof, graded PR70 by PCGS. All three are certified First Strike. PCGS graded coins are sonically sealed in a protective, tamper-evident PCGS NumisCap holder. A special label within the holder indicates the coin's certification number, grade, date, denomination, unique bar code and pedigree if applicable.
