This 2006-W to 2017-W Gold American Buffalo Proof set contains 16 coins ALL graded a perfect PR70 Deep Cameo by PCGS with First Strike certifications (Note: the 2013-W Reverse Proof is Chicago ANA and the 2016-W is First Day of Issue-Baltimore). This Set includes 2006-W to 2017-W 1 ounce $50 Gold Proof Buffalos, the 2008-W fractional denominations ($25, $10, $5), and the 2013-W Reverse Proof Chicago ANA for a total of 16 coins.

Each coin in this set has a razor sharp strike. The devices are crisp and the details are extremely well defined. The fields are smooth and mirror-like. (Note: The Reverse Proof has reflective devices.) These Proof Buffalos have exquisite visual appeal. This COMPLETE Proof Set is perfect for a collector.

First Strike coins are produced using the first dies forged by the Mint for a particular series. Use of these first dies typically result in a higher quality strike and finer details. A coin must be proven to have been released by the Mint within the first 30 days of issue in order to be designated First Strike. Only a limited quantity of coins will be classified First Strikes during any production run, making them prized among collectors and investors for their increased scarcity and added beauty.
