This 2013-W $50 American Gold Buffalo Reverse Proof is the epitome of perfection. It has been graded a flawless PR70 by PCGS. Featuring crisp devices, pristine fields, and spectacular mirror-like surfaces, this highly-collectible U.S. Gold bullion coin is also a First Strike. Gold Buffalos are minted from 1oz of 24-karat .9999 fine Gold making them a valuable addition to any collection or portfolio.

First Strike coins are produced using the first dies forged by the Mint for a particular series. The use of these first dies typically results in a higher quality strike and finer details. A coin must be proven to have been released by the Mint within the first 30 days of issuance to be designated First Strike. Only a limited quantity of coins will be classified First Strikes during any production run, making them prized among collectors and investors for their increased scarcity and added beauty.
