This 2014-W $50 Buffalo Proof graded a perfect PR70DCAM by PCGS and is certified First Strike. The $50 Gold Buffalo Proof coins are minted at the West Point Mint from 1 troy ounce of 24 karat gold. Dazzling in every way, this 1oz Proof has it all; from the exquisite details to the satin-smooth surfaces, the mirror-like fields, and the flawless devices. This Buffalo is sure to please even the most discerning numismatist or gold collector!

First Strike coins are produced using the first dies forged by the Mint for a particular series. The use of these first dies typically results in a higher quality strike and finer details.
