Clearly deserving the grade of a perfect MS70, the highest possible designation from NGC, this outstanding Gold Eagle exhibits blazing original mint luster. The satiny-smooth surfaces shine with clarity and beauty. The devices are powerfully-struck with full elaborate detail. The lines on Liberty's hair and dress are especially crisp and well-defined, as are the features of her face. The grade of MS70 indicates that this $50 Gold Eagle is perfect, and one of the finest in existence.

Early Release coins are produced using the first dies forged by the Mint for a particular series. Use of these first dies typically result in a higher quality strike and finer details. A coin must be proven to have been released by the Mint within the first 30 days of issue in order to be designated Early Release. Only a limited quantity of coins will be classified Early Release during any production run, making them prized among collectors and investors for their increased scarcity and added beauty.

Must be perfect

Coins rated MS70 have to be completely flawless. They're far beyond "uncirculated" and even the condition of the sealed container is crucial. This coin arrived quickly, exactly as advertised, and in perfect condition.
