This 2016-W Gold 25c Standing Liberty Quarter, graded SP70 First Strike by PCGS in a Moy Labeled holder, celebrates the 100th anniversary of the original release of the Standing Liberty Quarter. This centennial commemorative Gold coin features strong devices and smooth, golden fields. Minted at West Point, this 25c Gold Standing Liberty contains 1/4oz of 24KT Gold.

First Strike coins are produced using the first dies forged by the Mint for a particular series. The use of these first dies typically results in a higher quality strike and finer details. A coin must be proven to have been released by the Mint within the first 30 days of issuance to be designated First Strike. Only a limited quantity of coins will be classified First Strikes during any production run, making them prized among collectors and investors for their increased scarcity and added beauty.
