This 2014-W 50c Gold Kennedy Half Dollar is absolutely exquisite. This JFK Half Dollar graded a perfect PR70DCAM by PCGS and was certified First Strike with the Chicago ANA Label. Minted at the West Point mint in ¾ ounce of 24KT Gold, this coin commemorates the 50th anniversary of the Kennedy Half Dollar and honors the life of a beloved President, John Fitzgerald Kennedy.

First Strike coins are produced using the first dies forged by the Mint for a particular series. Use of these first dies typically result in a higher quality strike and finer details. A coin must be proven to have been released by the Mint within the first 30 days of issue in order to be designated First Strike. Only a limited quantity of coins will be classified First Strikes during any production run, making them prized among collectors and investors for their increased scarcity and added beauty.
