Commemorating the 100th anniversary of the Walking Liberty Half Dollar, this centennial coin is struck from 24-karat Gold and features a blazing original mint luster. With its razor sharp devices and pristine fields, this Walking Liberty will make an excellent addition to any collection.

First Strike coins are produced using the first dies forged by the Mint for a particular series. The use of these first dies typically results in a higher quality strike and finer details. A coin must be proven to have been released by the Mint within the first 30 days of issuance to be designated First Strike. Only a limited quantity of coins will be classified First Strikes during any production run, making them prized among collectors and investors for their increased scarcity and added beauty.
