This 2008-W $10 American Buffalo 1/4oz 24-Karat Gold coin has graded PR70DCAM by PCGS and is certified First Strike with a flag label. Frosty devices stand out against deeply mirrored fields, providing a nice cameo appearance. The surfaces on this Gold Proof are beautiful with its flawless fields and overall eye-appeal.

First Strike coins are produced using the first dies forged by the Mint for a particular series. The use of these first dies typically results in a higher quality strike and finer details. A coin must be proven to have been released by the Mint within the first 30 days of issuance to be designated First Strike.
