Here is a 2014-W $10 Gold Eagle Proof graded PR70DCAM First Strike by PCGS with the collectible Saint Gaudens label. This 1/4 oz 22KT American Gold Proof Eagle coin has razor sharp devices and pristine fields. Minted in West Point, this $10 Gold Eagle is perfect for a collection or a portfolio.

First Strike coins are produced using the first dies forged by the Mint for a particular series. Use of these first dies typically result in a higher quality strike and finer details. A coin must be proven to have been released by the Mint within the first 30 days of issue in order to be designated First Strike. Only a limited quantity of coins will be classified First Strikes during any production run, making them prized among collectors and investors for their increased scarcity and added beauty.
