This Gold Proof commemorates Louisa Adams, the wife of John Quincy Adams, the 6th President of the United States. Minted in 24-KT Gold, this 1/2 oz coin has sharp devices and smooth, reflective fields. The obverse features a portrait Louisa Adams and the reverse depicts Louisa in a cloak with a school child.
