Here is an absolutely gorgeous 2015-W $100 American Liberty High Relief Gold coin graded MS70 First Strike by PCGS. This 2015-W High Relief marks the first time a Gold coin has been given a $100 denomination by the U.S. Mint. This is the first High Relief coin released from the U.S. Mint since the 2009 Ultra High Relief, making it a coveted collectible in the High Relief series. The coins are struck 3 times on a custom planchet to create the desired High Relief effect. This High Relief Liberty also features a brand new design; Lady Liberty in a flowing dress on the obverse and a beautiful bald eagle on the reverse. With a limited mintage of only 50,000, the 2015-W High Relief Liberty coin is a highly desirable collectible.

This High Relief Liberty coin features an extremely sharp strike with brilliant lustrous high relief surfaces. The design elements are very crisp and stand out against the smooth fields. This American Liberty High Relief is the epitome of perfection and dazzles with magnificent eye-appeal. The 2015-W 1 ounce High Relief is a product of the West Point Mint and is struck using 24KT (.9999 fine) Gold.

First Strike coins are produced using the first dies forged by the Mint for a particular series. Use of these first dies typically result in a higher quality strike and finer details. A coin must be proven to have been released by the Mint within the first 30 days of issue in order to be designated First Strike. Only a limited quantity of coins will be classified First Strikes during any production run, making them prized among collectors and investors for their increased scarcity and added beauty.
