This 2015-W High Relief marks the first time a Gold coin has been given a $100 denomination by the U.S. Mint. This is the first High Relief coin released from the U.S. Mint since the 2009 Ultra High Relief, making it a coveted collectible in the High Relief series. Brilliant, lustrous, high relief surfaces reflect an extremely sharp strike with crisp design elements displayed atop satiny smooth fields. With dazzling eye appeal, this magnificent $100 High Relief Gold coin is the epitome of perfection. Produced at the West Point Mint, the 2015-W 1 ounce High Relief is struck from 24KT (.9999 fine) Gold.

2015 High Reliefs are struck 3 times on a custom planchet to create the incredible High Relief effect. This coin features a brand new design with Lady Liberty in a flowing dress on the obverse and a beautiful bald eagle on the reverse. With a limited mintage of only 50,000, this 2015-W High Relief Liberty coin is sure to be a prized collectible.

This perfect First Strike Proof-like 2015 American Liberty also comes with the Original Government Packaging: a beautiful U.S. Mint Box and Certificate of Authenticity.

First Strike coins are produced using the first dies forged by the Mint for a particular series. The use of these first dies typically results in a higher quality strike and finer details. A coin must be proven to have been released by the Mint within the first 30 days of issuance to be designated First Strike. Only a limited quantity of coins will be classified First Strikes during any production run, making them prized among collectors and investors for their increased scarcity and added beauty.
