Very scarce and absolutely gorgeous 2015-W $100 American Liberty High Relief graded MS70PL First Strike by PCGS. This 2015-W High Relief marks the first time a Gold coin has been given a $100 denomination by the U.S. Mint. This is the first High Relief coin released from the U.S. Mint since the 2009 Ultra High Relief, making it a coveted collectible in the High Relief series.

2015 High Reliefs are struck 3 times on a custom planchet to create the incredible High Relief effect. Featuring a brand new design with Lady Liberty in a flowing dress on the obverse and a beautiful bald eagle on the reverse. With a limited mintage of only 50,000, this 2015-W High Relief Liberty coin is sure to be a prized collectible.

Brilliant, lustrous, high relief surfaces reflect an extremely sharp strike with crisp design elements displayed atop satin smooth fields. With dazzling eye-appeal this magnificent $100 High Relief Gold coin is the epitome of perfection. Produced at the West Point Mint, the 2015-W 1 ounce High Relief is struck from 24KT (.9999 fine) Gold.

This 2015-W High Relief Gold Liberty has also received the prestigious First Strike designation from PCGS. First Strike coins are produced using the first dies forged by the Mint for a particular series. Use of these first dies typically result in a higher quality strike and finer details. A coin must be proven to have been released by the Mint within the first 30 days of issue in order to be designated First Strike. Only a limited quantity of coins will be classified First Strikes during any production run, making them prized among collectors and investors for their increased scarcity and added beauty.

In addition, the Proof Like distinction is incredibly rare for the series. Current PCGS population shows ONLY 20 graded MS70PL First Strike in the Moy Label.
