The 2009 (MMIX) $20 Ultra High Relief Gold Double Eagle was struck to show off the technological advancements of the minting process. Using Augustus St Gaudens original design, with some modifications, the U.S. Mint produced the coins in 24-karat fine Gold. This Ultra High Relief Double Eagle (UHR) has graded MS70 by PCGS. This UHR $20 Gold Double Eagle is simply breathtaking. It is an ideal selection for the discerning Gold type collector and is sure to captivate the interest of savvy investors, as well.

The devices are crisply struck, and fully-articulated. The Ultra High Relief strike creates an almost three dimensional effect that makes the devices stand out beautifully from the deep, semi-reflective satiny fields.
