Now offering a First Strike 2014-W $5 Gold Baseball Hall of Fame commemorative graded a perfect PR70DCAM by PCGS.

These gold coins were issued in recognition and celebration of the National Baseball Hall of Fame, which celebrated its 75th anniversary in 2014. A nationwide competition was held to determine the obverse design for the coin, which is uniquely concave and complements the chosen glove design well. A perfect addition to any gold collection or for a baseball fan!

First Strike coins are produced using the first dies forged by the Mint for a particular series. The use of these first dies typically results in a higher quality strike and finer details. A coin must be proven to have been released by the Mint within the first 30 days of issuance to be designated First Strike. Only a limited quantity of coins will be classified First Strikes during any production run, making them prized among collectors and investors for their increased scarcity and added beauty.
