A product of the West Point Mint, this 2010-W Buffalo Proof features crisp devices and blazing gold surfaces. Minted using a special process to create the highest quality strike and exceptionally reflective fields, this $50 Gold Proof Buffalo is certain to please even the most discerning numismatist or Gold collector.

First Strike coins are produced using the first dies forged by the Mint for a particular series. The use of these first dies typically results in a higher quality strike and finer details. A coin must be proven to have been released by the Mint within the first 30 days of issuance to be designated First Strike. Only a limited quantity of coins will be classified First Strikes during any production run, making them prized among collectors and investors for their increased scarcity and added beauty.
