This 2014-W American Gold $50 Buffalo Proof coins graded a perfect PR70DCAM by PCGS. From the West Point Mint, this 1 oz Gold Bullion Proof is certified First Strike with the collectible Buffalo Label. This fine Gold Proof coin is sure to please even the most discerning numismatist or gold collector! Dazzling in every way, this 1oz Proof has it all; from the exquisite details to the satin-smooth surfaces, the mirror like fields, and the flawless devices.

American Gold Buffalo were the first .9999 fine (24 karat) gold coins made by the U.S. Mint. The minting of these coins has been commissioned to the United States Mint at West Point, and they have done an incredible job of producing the Proof versions of these American Gold Buffalo coins. By using a specialized minting process that begins by manually feeding burnished coin blanks into presses fitted with special dies, the coin is then struck multiple times so the softly frosted and highly detailed images seem to float above the field.

The coin pictured is the exact coin you will receive. A 2014-W $50 Gold Buffalo, graded PR70DCAM by PCGS with Certification number 527098.70/29988147. PCGS graded coins are sonically sealed in a protective, tamper-evident PCGS NumisCap holder. A special label within the holder indicates the coin's certification number, grade, date, denomination, unique bar code and pedigree if applicable.
