This 2016-W $50 American Gold Buffalo Proof, graded PR70DCAM First Strike by PCGS features a razor-sharp strike and pristine mirror-like fields. This 1 oz Proof Buffalo has the special Baltimore - March 2016 label.

Comes with original government packaging: U.S. Mint Box and Certificate of Authenticity.

First Strike coins are produced using the first dies forged by the Mint for a particular series. The use of these first dies typically results in a higher quality strike and finer details. A coin must be proven to have been released by the Mint within the first 30 days of issuance to be designated First Strike. Only a limited quantity of coins will be classified First Strikes during any production run, making them prized among collectors and investors for their increased scarcity and added beauty.
