Graded a perfect PR70 Deep Cameo from PCGS, this exquisite 1992-W $50 Gold Eagle Proof coin is sure to please even the most discerning numismatist or gold collector. This American Gold Eagle is a 1oz uncirculated Proof coin from the West Point mint. Dazzling in every way, the 1oz American Gold Eagle Proof coin have it all; from the exquisite details on the devices to the superb, satin-smooth surfaces, making this gold bullion proof truly magnificent.

The minting of the Gold Eagle Proofs has been commissioned to the United States Mint at West Point, and they have done an incredible job of producing the Proof versions of these American Gold Eagle coins. By using a specialized minting process that begins by manually feeding burnished coin blanks into presses fitted with special dies, the coin is then struck multiple times so the softly frosted and highly detailed images seem to float above the field.

American Eagle Gold coins are guaranteed by the U.S. government in weight, content and purity and the Gold American Eagles appeal to both investors and collectors alike. The classic and beautiful obverse (front side) design of Lady Liberty recalls a golden age of coin artistry. This Liberty design has been a longtime favorite since it was first used back in 1907 on the $20 Gold St. Gaudens coins.
