This 2006-W $50 Gold Eagle Reverse Proof is very nice. Distinguished with a grade of PR69 from PCGS, this Gold proof exhibits blazing original mint luster. This appealing $50 Eagle Reverse Proof displays well-struck devices and exquisite high-point detail throughout. The fields on this impressive Gold Eagle are beautifully frosted while Lady Liberty and the eagle family shine with a deep mirror-like appearance.

First Strike coins are produced using the first dies forged by the Mint for a particular series. Use of these first dies typically result in a higher quality strike and finer details. A coin must be proven to have been released by the Mint within the first 30 days of issue in order to be designated First Strike. Only a limited quantity of coins will be classified First Strikes during any production run, making them prized among collectors and investors for their increased scarcity and added beauty.
