This is a 2014-W American Eagle Proof, graded a flawless PR70 Deep Cameo First Strike by PCGS in the Flag Label. Featuring bold, sharply struck devices on dazzling Gold fields and from the West Point Mint, this Eagle has exquisite details on the devices and brilliant mirror like surfaces. Includes original government packaging and certificate of authenticity.

First Strike coins are produced using the first dies forged by the Mint for a particular series. Use of these first dies typically result in a higher quality strike and finer details. A coin must be proven to have been released by the Mint within the first 30 days of issue in order to be designated First Strike. Only a limited quantity of coins will be classified First Strikes during any production run, making them prized among collectors and investors for their increased scarcity and added beauty.

The coin pictured is the exact coin you will receive. A 2014-W $50 Gold Eagle, graded PR70 DCAM by PCGS with Certification number 527098.70/29705206 and original box and Certificate of Authenticity. PCGS graded coins are sonically sealed in a protective, tamper-evident PCGS NumisCap holder. A special label within the holder indicates the coin's certification number, grade, date, denomination, unique bar code and pedigree if applicable.
